Had a pretty darn good weekend minus a visit to the vet with one of the horses, which in all reality was not all that bad. Freckles had a terribly swollen eye Friday morning, but with a full schedule our vet was not able to come out. It being her eye we did not want to wait, so Friday afternoon we left work a little early and took her to him. Turned out to just be a bad allergic reaction and a couple days on some eye cream has cleared it right up.
Started my Saturday a.m. with an intense yoga workout. Then spent the rest of the day doing some chores and playing with Tucker a bit at home.
Today I had a fabulous day with my friend and her horse. She has access to lots of farm land and some logging roads so there are plenty of places to ride when I trailer up to see her. She also has a mini that loves Tucker and the two of them love to play, play, play together. It was gorgeous out and it turned out to really be the perfect day.
