I changed the language on my phone to French because it's like my own version of immersion, you know? I've already done my Google and Facebook settings and stuff, so I did the phone as well. And while I can still individually select the type of calendar and clock I want (24 hr clock vs AM/PM, European-style date display, languages for each, etc), it apparently assumes I will henceforth send all texts in French. I suppose that's somewhat reasonable to assume, but guess what? It means it's loaded a French autocorrect instead of English (or instead of both is what I'd secretly hoped) and it's made it about 50,000 times harder to write a sentence. As if English autocorrect wasn't bad enough already, I'm going to end up sending unintelligible French/English messages to everyone. Let me turn it off and retain all the rest of the French, you bastards! Surely there's a Canadian setting on this or something. *shakes it around*
Anyway, how are all of YOU? I'm going to a pajama party in a couple hours! I know you're jealous! :D
UPDATE: Okay, I can turn autocorrect off but I want it ON and in ENGLISH (because I actually do count on it to change Im to I'm for me, etc). Come on, is this really so much to ask? (Haha, uh... yes?)
