Checking in here for no real reason exactly. Not much has been going on, I suppose. Over the weekend I almost died because I think I picked up some good old fashioned food poisoning or something somewhere. Delightful. There really was a point where I just begged for death, but God wasn't having it, apparently. Happily (I guess), I live on and in better health though not quite perfect. Though that's never been the case anyway, so I digress.
Les Frères Jonas announced World Tour 2010 this morning; Portland got shafted! Damn you, Jonas Brothers! Now I have to drive to Seattle on a Tuesday?? What is that?? Maybe I won't even go if you're gonna be all like that.
Got a call from Charter this morning regarding the job I applied for there. Just a preliminary screening kind of thing, to weed out the crazies, I presume. So it's not a huge deal yet I think. Still, I need a job so they better give it to me. ;)
I am currently sitting in the college library and I was going to get some freakin' work done today (LOL, LJ), but I just realized it is INCREDIBLY HOT IN HERE. Since I live two blocks from here I'm totally going to have to go home and change or I'll never live through US history tonight, OMG. Apparently not everyone keeps their thermostats at 60 like I do. (I actually don't even know the temperature in my house, but it isn't this.)
Last night I was watching Sister Act 2 (DO NOT JUDGE ME) and I was thinking wouldn't it be awesome to be a nun? I mean, really. Seeing as I'm already basically cloistered in my own form of convent and I might as well make a vow of celibacy, I don't think it'd be much different. And you don't need a job! And you get fed. So, you know, not so bad when you think about it. Of course, there's that whole conversion to Catholicism thing, but we'll take this one day at a time, okay?
I wonder if nuns are allowed to go to Jonas Brothers concerts?
I leave you with drunk Nick Jonas at a Friends For Change taping:
