Try To Leave The Light On When I'm Gone

Edward (edmcbride) sent me a nudgey thing like, four days ago. I guess I could post something since he's obviously a big fan. ;)

Man, LJ, I haven't been around. I've got way too much going on! I think of you all though, so have comfort in that... I guess? I love you!

Let's see. French -- awesome. Although some nights it is very obvious that 6-9pm isn't the most optimal time to try to study a foreign language because by then your brain is shutting off and you're just like... eeuuuggh.

I bought a flag for the front of my house (the angled kind that attach to the building). Now, I know in the description from when I ordered it that it said 3'x5' on it, however 3'x5' doesn't seem that big until you've actually got it in your hands and you're like, "Where the hell am I going to put this thing? This is like for a ship or something!" I can't decide if I should send it back or just deal with the ginormous flag. Looking around online I just can't seem to find a smaller flag that is also made the way I want, which is with embroidered stars and sewn stripes (as opposed to just printed on a piece of fabric). Maybe I'm too picky. I guess I'll just be SUPER PATRIOTIC LADY on my street.

I got a David Archuleta CD for Christmas from the aforementioned (in my last post) person to whom I gave the David Cook CD. We are now in a complete Cookleta balance, I guess! Woo! I'm still vying for Leta (haha, I just made that up, I'm so calling him "Leta" now) to sing some grown up songs. Come on, Leta, you can do it! You have the power!

Even in the face of too much to do, (and even with the David Cook Light On Challenge over), I pulled out ol' white sides (what the hell am I even saying? Except that I just realized my guitar has no name... maybe... Leta???) and put myself to task trying to learn "Light On". It's actually not hard at all. Yay for learning music!

Um... anything else? Those are the Things Of Today, I guess. Presents from Bill & Mike (many other cool ones too, I'll have to share those later maybe), new flag, French is cool. Oh, I bought a cactus at Ikea on Sunday. CACTUS. I should take a picture, it's so weird looking! And other random gadgets. I need to go back for a couple small things... I'm hoping to take Tyler with me (are you out there, Tyler? Let's go to Ikea!).

Okay, Seacrest out.
