No quotes today; I wanted to thank everyone who wished me luck with the Rescue Diver class. It went well, I think I did alright. Next I have to do the open water dive, where I have to put together four rescues from four rescue scenarios they're going to create for me. I can't do that until next month because of money, but it should be early in the month, so I don't forget everything I've learned. I wish it wasn't just me in the class--I mean, it's kind of good because the classes don't take so much time, but I don't like having all that attention focused on me for so long. But hey, I'm not really complaining.
I have a question that perhaps one of you can help me with. Does anyone know if a person convicted of armed robbery would be held at a federal prison or a state prison? Also, if you're using an automatic pistol, is it still called 'pulling back the hammer' or 'cocking' the pistol when you're getting ready to fire a clip? I know nothing about the use of guns and I can't seem to find that information. I'm actually working on an original story, believe it or not. It started out as something I was going to try to make into another novel, but I think it will work best as a short story. I will try to get it published somewhere, if I ever finish it.
