I remember when I first started blogging that I thought posting pictures in a blog post took away from the writing. I thought it was an excuse to not have to write or fill content. I remember feeling the same way about embedded YouTube videos. Since then, I have been able to move away from that view. Pictures and videos further describe the lives that we live. They add to what we have to say, or stand for something when we have no words for what is happening.
