(no subject)
It's been a long while since I have posted. With getting used to working full time, hanging out with friends, Ryan, getting into a home routine and painting my apartment, I have had very little extra time to write. I have a hard enough time doing my dishes. I am not sure what to cover in the last three weeks, other than:
-I am enjoying life in Alaska.
-My coworkers are great friends.
-Adam, Sarah (from work) and Liz helped me paint my apartment. I still have a fourth coat of red to put in the bathroom's accent wall, as well as a second beige coat on one of the entryway walls and the bedroom walls.
-I moved into my permanent office a couple weeks ago. It has beautiful blue and green walls and I am slowly personalizing it. A sweet art deco couch was put in and eventually I'll have a cushy chair.
-Liz and her dog Burton are my roommates this weekend. My landlord doesn't normally allow dogs but I think this situation warrants an exception. Break-ups are no fun and are hard enough normally, not to mention in an island context.
