got pumpkin?
For the roommate get together on Halloween, I bought a can of pumpkin for some donuts. The donuts ended up becoming muffins and I made orange icing for a topping. Then I thought, what I would I do with the leftover 25 ounces of pumpkin? I had marked this recipe a while ago and wondered if it would work. To be frank...it sounded sick. One box of cake mix plus 16 ounces of pumpkin? But once it baked...mmm...it had that sweet smell of chocolate (I used a deep chocolate cake mix instead of spiced cake). The orange icing went very well with it. So, the next time you have leftover pumpkin and a cake mix and are up for something out of the norm...I recommend this recipe.
