The corner of Walnut Hill hosts many homeless people. And though I make sure my car doors are locked when I pass one by, I am thankful that they are there, reminding me of how much worse I could have it. It's sad that these are the extremes that make me realize how lucky I am.
I am thankful for having a home, a bed to sleep in, clothes to wear, food (even if it's all microwaveable), a car to drive, shoulders to cry on, love... I am very thankful, and I am very lucky.
