the holidays are the best when...
so, i'm not jewish, but i received my very first hanaukkah present yesterday! and it was a fabulous bag! yay for a half jewish boyfriend that knows how to get the hint when i'm standing in macy's saying "i REALLY LOVE this nine west bag here..."!!! now all i need is a smaller wallet. and he definitely got that hint, too. hehee. i'm so clever.
although you would not recognize my cleverness (is that a word?!) by the presents i purchased this holiday season. especially for phil. it's all stuff he either asked for, or i knew he wanted. i'm disappointed with myself. but i do have a few more shopping days left. hmmm...
things are going well here in jersey (ha! i am a new jersey resident for the month! ha!), which makes me incredibly happy. we've managed to entertain ourselves with making pancakes, cleaning (mostly me), doing laundry, family guy, and legends of the hidden temple. oh, and the latest craze is playing "hide the hammer in ridiculous places so ashley finds it and freaks out." um, yeah. don't ask. in any case, things are pleasant and i'm grateful for that. my boyfriend's a fun guy. but i knew that before now.
