does anyone else get headaches that start in the back of their head and move down their neck and then consume their entire brain? it's not really intense pain, like a migraine, but a dull, steady 6-on-a-scale-of-to-10 kind of pain. and i have a very good threshold for pain (hi, i have kidney problems). i get them several times per week (occasionally every day -- count this week: 2), on both weekdays and weekends. most often workdays, though.
some things i've pretty much ruled out:
1. my contacts are relatively new and my perscription is less than a year old.
2. when i wear my hair in a ponytail, it's not too tight
3. my computer screen at work is a flat screen and it's set to a mild brightness, yet not too dull so that i have to squint
4. my stress level is manageable, not overwhelming
5. my bed pillow is comfortable -- not too hard or too flat
med students and moms of the world unite to cure me of the wretched pain! please.
