It's February 5th or 2 HOUR SMALLVILLE EP DAY! ;) And *finally* I got to see a trailer for the show (SUN TV did a lame general trailer of past clips where all they mention is that tonight's episode is two hours long).
Anyway, not a fan of Smallville, or more of not a fan of Superman (this character is such a dork! Batman FTW!); BUT, I have been a fan of the Justice League and have enjoyed the Smallville episodes concerning JL in the past. I just hope I don't get too lost with continuing story lines / characters that I'm supposed to know but never seen before, lol.

PS ~ You know a show is directed to sexually-frustrated virgin geek boys when the girl of the lot has a midrif as part of their custom. Like Wonder Woman and her bathing suit and heels. Or Super Girl and the mini skirt (and mid-rif depending on the artist). Who in their right mind would try to fight crime in halter tops and bikinis?? Mind you, DC isn't the only offender, there's also the more recent Lara Croft and Buffy to add to the mix.
Funnily enough, for "human" male crime fighters; Hawkman is as close to ooh-show-me-some-skin as male super heroes can get apparently, rofl.
Superman?
Onesie PajamasBatman? Ditto
and Robin? okay he shows some leg, but he's a sidekick. When Dick Grayson (the *only* Robin in my verse) re-brands himself into Dark Wing (also a fave character of mine), he adopts the full onesie.
Flash? Also gots his onesie on.
Captain America? Ditto
Green Lantern? Ditto
The Hulk? He's Green! Ie he's more beast than human, so he's allowed to show some raging nipple like an ape would.
Spiderman? He's TOTALLY covered.
So what is it about female super heroes that the only padding to their costumes can be found hugging their breasts? When hitting up a brick wall you'd think you'd want some kind of protective layer between the rest of you and it.
*shrugs* Okay, that's it for my bit of unintentioned bra-burning. XD
