It's funny. I just spent an hour watching "Ancient Aliens" on the History channel, which is pretty much Dr. Jackson's theory of landing pads and inter-racial communication with a technologically advanced species. Really amusing stuff. And then, the following program, "Life After People", discussed what would happen to Cheyenne Mountain.
