Must all my ducks be in a row, or can they just sort of be in the same room?

I feel almost like an adult today.

1) All of my bills have been paid off--ON TIME no less! This includes rent, energy, and credit card.
2) My biggest debt has finally been taken care of--all 4,000 dollars worth of braces, paid off!
3) Not only am I managing to finish my homework, but I am ALSO on target with my NaNoWriMo goals--this is huge since I DID NOT feel like writing, even a little yesterday. Or the day before. It's been a rough start.
4) I still have a job! Even though I totally forgot about my review (it's not like it was on the schedule, damn it!), I smoothed it over (I think?) with my boss and don't believe I'm even getting written up. Sweet. I am one lucky duck.
5) I have managed to save FIFTY DOLLARS for the Bahamas! As in, legitimately saved! As in going-into-my-savings-account-in-the-bank saved. And this time, there's no foreseeable bill that it's supposed to have gone to. ^_^!! Happy dance!

The mundane out of the way...
It turns out that I have been nominated to run for President of a Teaching-Resource-College-Club that I'm not even a part of. I have no idea who came up with that idea or why, but I'm going to at least look into it. It's good for my resume if elected and should be interesting at the very least.

Do I know who nominated me? Not a clue.

Is it flattering? Absolutely!

I'm shocked that someone else has even noticed me in these teacher-ed classes, and now I feel bad that I don't know more of my fellow student's names in my classes--I should really work on that, especially since many of them seem to know who I am. I spent an entire semester chatting and talking with one chick from one of my prior classes without knowing her name until THIS class that we're both in. Yeah, I can be idiotic sometimes.

Now, I'm thinking I'm going to kick back, relax, and read a trashy romance novel from the 80's. Because I'm worth it. xD
