Hey Doc, I'm coming over to your place, just so you know. [Why yes, that does almost sound like a date or something. Seeing as it's Marco and really who knows what he's thinking. Also the disadvantage to being a sketchy doctor is that you get bugged as bizarre as hell hours.]Ace, Luffy, I'm going to the Doc's. Though while I remember, how hard ( Read more... )

I honestly don't care for any season more than the others. Although I suppose it's nice when we're not freezing to death in the middle of a blizzard.

... Also, Spero?

Certainly one advantage.

It's a city across the sea I'm told.

Across the sea there's another city? ... Well, I suppose it makes sense Discedo isn't the only thing in the world here.

Correct. Apparently there are more scattered around, but I'm more interested in sailing.

You almost make it sound like some vacation trip rather than exploring.

I'm a pirate. It's one and the same for me. Besides, Ace and his little bro were there before, so it's not completely exploring.

Well, I guess it is nice to have at least something to remind you of home here. Even if it's just sailing.

Well, I have Ace too. And Pops' jacket.

I definitely miss sailing though. Strange the things you take for granted.

It's always a little different to actually do things from back home as opposed to just having things from back home still. I can't say I've sailed much in my life though.

Hm, perhaps.

Really? I guess it's not as common on other worlds. Still seems strange to me though.

Piracy is more something in my world's past, mostly. But I'm honestly not too surprised by the idea of a world where it's still going.

Yup. Great Age of Pirates and all that. [Literally how they date their calendar in his world.]

It's probably because my world is mostly ocean, eh. Everyone has to sail to get anywhere and sticking to one island would be terrible for trade.

Ah, that makes sense too, I guess. Back in my world my family had an annual conference on a pretty much isolated island, so I understand the need for boats in certain situations.

Annual conference?

It's easier to call it a family get-together with the meeting up mostly just as a cover up to discuss the inheritance.

Inheritance. [Sorry. He's just WAY too amused by the concept.]

But not responsibilities?
