Japan -- Bushido -- ah, that is... Kiku Honda, male Japan, has been sent home.
[As for how well Marco's taking it, is pretty obvious to anyone who knows him. The deadpan composure is still there, but it's carefully in place, and he looks worse for the wear. His hand grips tightly onto the sword Japan left behind and sitting up on the roof, for

Would you care for company?

I'm on the roof.

[He'd ask which roof but he can simply fly around to see. A few minutes later, Cube touches down near Marco. He draws in a breath, knowing that losing someone so close is perhaps the hardest thing to deal with in this world.]
Marco-san...

[Ruffles Cube's head.]

Mhm. You needn't thank me, Marco-san.
[He isn't quite sure what to say. Cube gives Marco a quick look over. Cube smiles again seeing Marco wearing something for once.]
Your jacket is very well made. It suits you.

[He'll reach out and hover over the design with his fingertips.]
Yes, it's gotten quite cold recently. Though, I'm thankful it's nothing outrageous like another blizzard.
[Cube pulls his hand away from Marco's jacket and looks into the sky. he's quiet while in thought. He rests his chin on the basket he was carrying.]
I wish I could have made Reisen-san something more than a santa-san hat before she left.
Reply
Hm? Ah Cube, you do too much already. Japan too I suppose.

Though, I've always felt very welcome with Japan-san. Even when I lived on his land, I had felt more comfortable despite being a demon in the human world.
His culture was fascinating. I wish I could have spent more time there.
Reply
Yeah? [Grips the sword tightly.] I want to go there. His people are welcoming too?
Reply
We'll be there eventually.
[Cube gives a moment to think.]
I believe Japan is as welcoming as most other places I've been. Granted, they need to believe you're human. I believe Marco-san would benefit greatly from learning more Japanese customs. While people will tend to excuse you because you're foreign, it's best to surprise them by acting appropriately. It's not something they'd expect, but like anywhere you go, it's appreciated.
Besides, the holidays they celebrate there are fun and well natured. I plan to try to celebrate more of them next year. I too need to familiarize myself with that world once more should I expect to live there again.

We can practice together then, eh?
Do I seem human, you think? [EARNEST QUESTION HERE. Marco has no idea how to be human. Or act human. Or dress human. How sad.]
Reply
Of course. I'll try to teach Marco-san what I know.
[Looking at Marco, Cube wonders if he should avoid that question or not. Honesty gets the best of him,as it usually does.]
Marco-san looks human, but I'm afraid he acts as though he were born of the demon world. I don't feel there is anything to fear, though. It's not as though anyone will know unless Marco-san tells them.
Most humans I encountered didn't believe there were demons, fairies, or much else. Though they did enjoy stories about them, I found most thought the existence of magic was fictional. It helped me keep my disguise, at least.

I guess I'll just have to blend in early on until I can do that without breaking anything, eh?
Reply
I suppose Marco-san will have a more difficult time trying to prove what he is to many people than to hide.
That might be for the best. Though, it won't be easy. [His ears droop thinking of times he had been found out to be not what people thought he was.
He gives Marco a small smile again]
But Marco-san can do it.
