It's a kind of long story. When I was a sophomore in high school everyone I was friends with wore these Nike canvas shoes, but the deal was that you couldn't infringe on somebody else's color. By the time I got around to it, red was all that was left.
So one day I'm in the bathroom, minding my own business, and somebody comes in and, from the other side of the partition, says, "Hey, Kevin, what's up?" I'm wigged out; this dude can NOT see me, but he knows it's me. So I asked him how he knew. "Everyone knows Kevin wears those crazy-ass shoes." And so it was. It just stuck.

1. i love that you completely shocked me this year, but mostly i love that you are the person who can keep me most sane and make be feel better just by talking to me or sitting with me 2. "time after time" or "the trapeze swinger" by iron and wine 3. 9am, youre the first person i see in the morning and it amkes me smile 4. natural 5. this entire year, but more specifically dancing in our living room 6. a swan 7. what are you scared of because you always seem fearless to me?
