I stole this from a community I'm in. Apologies to the one friend that's most likely in the same community. ;)
I think this is pretty awesome, and since I'd never noticed it before, I figure maybe others hadn't, either. Anyone want to go to Chili's with me on Monday?
Go to Chili's on September 24th. The restaurant annually sets aside one day of the year where they donate 100% of their profits to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. A MINIMUM of $100,000 will be donated but there's no doubt it'll be much, much higher than this and possibly into the millions.
Also any time this month spend $1 (minimum) to color a pepper at Chili's. The profits from this will also be donated to St. Jude.
***LAST YEAR CHILI'S RAISED 5.2 MILLION DOLLARS FOR ST. JUDE***
"Since the inception of its relationship with St. Jude, Chili’s has raised more than $10.5 million for the hospital. The funds contribute to Chili’s 10-year plan to raise $50 million for the construction of a new state-of-the-art research and clinical care building named the Chili’s Care Center, opening in November 2007, which will house the Department of Radiological Sciences, the Pediatric Brain Tumor Consortium (PBTC), inpatient activity areas and new research laboratories."
