I haven’t written much lately because I’ve been tired, sick, bogged down with homework, and generally haven’t had much to say, anyway. But now I have a question

We sometimes had dancing in P.E. classes. Usually is was square dancing or something I was equally disinterested in. If they'd taught us how to breakdance, I might have signed up for it after grade ten. we never did have compulsory dances that I remember of though, just the "school discos" that you mentioned earlier. That sounds like a lot of fun if you're into dancing though.
It wasn't that much fun. Most of the boys were terrible dancers, and half the time all they wanted to do was drag you around. One dance had a bit that went: forward step, step, swing, back step, step, together. They dragged you forward in big steps and tried to kick the person in front in the bum. Boys wreck everything. =D
Like it says above, dancing in gym class. I learned how to square dance! Yay! (That was complete and utter sarcasm) Right and left hand grande or some crap like that. And a few circle dances. I distinctly remember how to do "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree". Dancing in gym usually took place in the winter, and that was when I usually had gym class, so it worked out well. Two or three weeks of not having to run in the snow and rain.
That and "Heads and shoulders, knees and toes" from elementary school. Those were the days...
hahaha I remember dancing to "Jingle Bell Rock" in PE class and it was summer time! And then the people that were going into grade 8 the next year were watchting.......that was embarassing, yet funny. But ya basically the same, dancing in PE class and then the regular every few months or so school dances, which were optional to go to.
The only thing like that we ever did was "bushdancing" one time at a school camp. Was the whole lagerphone ye olde Australian colonial dancing crap. Your school sounds fancy.
