Weekend schtuff
This weekend was a great one. My marvelous parents came and visited and took Smalls, Char, and I out to eat REAL food! Yum! Also, we threw a "Superhero weekend" in our suite and watched X-Men I and II and Spiderman II since I had never seen them before. Good flicks! There was also some sweet Super Mario Bros. action for a bit and that was hilarious. We got so loud! School is getting busy with homework, tests, and projects, but I'm keeping on my toes and taking it as it comes. I'm playing unorganized soccer almost every weeknight and that's fun. Life is good.
God rocks, might I just say that right now. He takes me day by day and leads me to an abundant life with Him. That life, I am learning, is not something that comes to you and you passively accept it. It's a race, a dance, and even a fight. Grabbing a hold of life, giving it to God, and running (not just walking) with Him through it is what I'm trying to do (though His power in me). It's a life-long journey so I'm told, but that journey is given to us for a purpose and we are to life it out.
