Three days since the news of Greyback's return, and the rogue werewolf's presence had been hanging over the house like a pall. No one had really talked about it since the first day, but everyone was thinking about it. At least June knew she couldn't get the attack off her mind.
She was grateful that Professor Snape- Severus- had indicated that he had some things for her to do this morning. At least it'd be something to occupy her. She'd been working for him for about a week now; adapting to the space was tricky, though not as impossible as she'd feared. And in spite of his warnings, he'd been endlessly patient with her. Not that she'd expected anything else after their previous dealings.
One hand on the wall, she descended the stairs, finding the door to his lab without difficulty. Trying to push thoughts of Greyback out of her head, she reached out and tapped on the door.
