In the end, it hadn't been easy for Katie to admit that her life was forever changed by a bludger to the head. It wasn't something she liked to admit. She had never liked to admitting to failing at something. Even something that she couldn't remember. But in the end, what was best for them was just to end it. It being the marriage that she didn't remember. She filed for divorce and left the papers for her husband to find at the cottage after gathering the last of her things.
There was a note attached, but she knew that it wouldn't help anything.
Dear Charlie,
In the end, it seems like this all was a mistake, something that we rushed into and in the end, the accident changed us both. I'm not asking for anything, you can have the house and everything in it that is mutally ours. I don't remember it, I am sorry. I don't remember what we had and I can't force myself to try anymore. I hope you understand and this can end as amicably as possible. I wish you all the best in your life and hope that someday we can be friends, perhaps someday I'll remember everything we had, but now, I just can't. I'm sorry.

It was as simple as that and leaving her housekeys on the mantle by the floo before stepping through it and leaving her quickie marriage in the past, a past she couldn't remember. It was time to move on to the future with her coaching career and new horizons that waited for her with new opprotunities.
