Stella worked steadily for the twenty minutes after she closed her journal, attempting to get the rest of her substitute plans completed. She really didn't have that much left to do, and was able to wrap everything up before she stepped into the fireplace to Floo back to their flat.

When she arrived, she was rather impressed at how much Caleb had accomplished this week- on Monday morning, when she'd gone back to school, there had been a flat full of furniture. Now, she was stepping out into a living room that was bare, besides the pacing Caleb.

"Hi-" she began, but didn't even get one word out before Caleb had crossed the room, wrapped his arms around her, and started kissing her like he hadn't seen her in months.

Caleb knew that he hadn't even given Stella time to breathe before he was on her, but he'd been a mess all week waiting for Friday to arrive, and now all he wanted was her. He needed the calm that only she could provide.

When he finally pulled away from her mouth, it was only to kiss down her neck. "I've missed you," he murmured, his hands running up and down her sides. "I love you, and I've missed you, and I just needed to see you," he told her, moving back to her mouth, his tongue sweeping inside of her mouth.

Stella was rather taken aback by Caleb's enthusiastic greeting- not that she wasn't happy to see him, as well, but obviously he was feeling more demonstrative tonight than she was!

She gasped a bit when Caleb finally did pull away, both because of the need to breath and at the wonderful sensation of feeling his mouth on her skin.

"I missed you, too-" Stella began again, though she was again cut off by Caleb's mouth. She was not going to ever complain about that, however, and returned his kiss as best she could, winding her arms around his neck as she melted into his embrace.

It was several long moments later before they parted again, Stella pulling back gently to gaze at her soon-to-be husband.

"Merlin," she breathed, a wide grin coming over her face. "Just try to save a bit of that for tomorrow, love, alright?"

"I have plenty for tomorrow, I promise," Caleb assured her, kissing her again. The way he felt, he had enough pent up desire to keep them in business for a good week at least.

"We're getting married tomorrow," he said, grinning against her mouth. "Just a little preview of the honeymoon."

Caleb knew that Stella wouldn't let him get very far, but he had no qualms about pushing the envelope. He slid his hands up under her shirt, his fingers teasing along the skin on her stomach. "Hello," he murmured, kissing down her neck.

"We are," was all Stella managed this time, returning Caleb's grin as he kissed her, then giggling a little as his hands started working their way up her shirt.

"Someone is rather focused tonight, isn't he?" Stella asked, smiling and letting out a small gasp as Caleb's fingers drifted over a ticklish area on her stomach.

"Previews are....good," She finally admitted, wanting to protest, but finding it difficult as the feeling of Caleb's mouth on her skin driving most rational though out of her head.

"Very good," he agreed, "previews are brilliant." He couldn't stop touching, stop tasting. First they'd promised to wait until after they were married to have sex again, which felt like an eternity ago, but it was not being able to see her all week that had been pure torture.

"After tomorrow," he said, pulling her tighter against him, "you're not spending a single night away from home." He nipped her neck. "For at least a year." He ran his tongue over the spot he'd bitten. "Then we'll consider it."

"Caleb..." Stella half-moaned, not really sure if she wanted him to continue or stop. It did seem like it had been ages since the weekend, but she did want tomorrow to be special.

Still, she could never really bring herself to protest against anything Caleb did that felt so amazing. Stella groaned a bit as they shifted a little, her back coming in contact with the wall beside the fireplace.

"Every night at home," she nodded, "I can do that."

"Good," Caleb said, smiling and pressing Stella against the wall, giving into the desire to grind his erection against the familiar body against him. He couldn't recall wanting Stella so badly in his life, though he knew that he believed that to be true every time he wanted her

He allowed himself one final kiss, and groaned as he swiveled his hips one more time before backing away.

Caleb put a foot between them, holding up his hands. "I love you. I want nothing more than to fuck you against that wall," he said, his voice cracking slightly. "But I love you, and I promised you we'd wait. I don't know what I was thinking, but I promised."

He closed his eyes and shuddered, making a real effort to get his body under control. When he opened them again, he was smiling. "I'll see you at the altar love. I love you."

Caleb blew her a kiss, then Disapparated before he could change his mind.

Stella stood, eyes wide and mouth gaping, staring at the spot where Caleb had been standing a moment ago. She was still panting, a bit, from his intense (though brief) snogging, and it took her a long moment to pull herself back together.

When she did, though, it was only to smile and laugh at her silly, wonderful, impatient soon-to-be-husband.

Sighing a little now that he was gone, Stella took another opportunity to look around the bare flat. When she first moved in, the flat had been a sort of re-starting point for her. The war was over, and she'd come back to England after running away to Greece for those few months afterward. It had been a place for her to start her life again, and now, a little less than two years later, she was leaving ( ... )
