Draco held his cloak tightly about him as he entered the Three Broomsticks. Severus had offered to meet him. They were talking, sort of. Even if they just kept hashing through things, it was better. Better than the silence and harsh words that seemed to envelop everything about their interactions recently.
He stepped inside and looked around. Severus wasn't there yet, but that didn't surprise him. He was a bit early anyway. Not by much, but it was a little before 3.
Finding a booth close enough to the door for him to be located and yet far enough away from traffic proved to be an interesting endeavour. Still, he nodded as he headed towards what he hoped was the ideal location. Setting his cloak down, he ordered tea service for them and sat down to wait. Hopefully, if he'd timed things properly, Severus would appear right before the tea did.
What was he going to say to the man? He wasn't sure. He knew, though, after the last couple of months especially, that the lack of Severus Snape in his life was an extremely unstabilizing factor and one he needed to remedy. And it all revolved around two people. His response to Remus Lupin, and his response to his mother. He imagine the obstacle with his mother was going to be an easier task to manage.
Which left Remus Lupin. Was he really being that irrational towards Remus? Was he being rash and judgmental? Well, yes, but why? And the only way to find out was to talk through it. He'd tried the whole private contemplation path. That didn't help.
He looked towards the door, hoping to see his former professor walking towards him.
