"And the best part is, that's another of those presents we can enjoy over and over again," she smiled, running her hand up and down the side of Caleb's chest. "I was a little bit nervous that you'd planned for us to go out, actually. But whenever you want me to wear it, just say the word. It might be fun, actually. Oh- maybe I'll bring it on our honeymoon!" Stella laughed, thinking it might be easier to wear it out somewhere where she wouldn't know anyone!
Sighing contentedly, Stella relaxed in Caleb's embrace, still in a bit of a blissful post-sex haze- something she would never, ever tire of.
"Caleb?" She murmured a few minutes later, lifting her head to look at him. "I had an idea a few days ago- about the wedding-" she trailed off, not sure whether she actually wanted to bring her thought up now or not. Still, it couldn't hurt- Caleb was about as mellow as he ever got, and this was the time that they always seemed to be most honest with each other, after all.

When Stella began talking, he opened his eyes, but closed them again at the mention of the wedding. He smiled drowsily. "Anything you want you love, it's yours. It's your day."

"I know you remember, but- the first time we made love- it was amazing, wasn't it?" Stella asked, not pausing to let Caleb answer right away. "I mean, after all that frustration, finally getting to touch you, and hold you, and be connected with you like that- it was wonderful."
"So, I was thinking, maybe we shouldn't have sex for the next few weeks- to kind of build us up again, like that. Make our wedding night that much more special." Stella glanced up at Caleb, having no idea what his reaction was going to be. "What do you think?"

...maybe we shouldn't have sex for the next few weeks.
Caleb's eyes snapped open, suddenly wide awake. "Wait, what? Really?" Mentally, his mind was calculating exactly how many days away the wedding was. "So almost a month? With no sex? Really?" he asked again.
Merlin, that was going to be hard. Nearly impossible in his mind. The last time they'd not had sex, it was because Stella was still hurt and didn't trust him. It wasn't a time he particularly wanted to remember.
But it seemed important to Stella for whatever reason, and he couldn't say no to her request. "Yeah, I guess," he said, letting out a breath. "So when you say no sex, do you mean no anything?"
Reply
"Well, I was thinking along the lines of what we did before the first time. Snogging, but..." she trailed off, still looking up at him. "That's about it."
It wasn't a matter of life and death in the least. Still, Stella thought it would make their wedding night that much more special if they were missing each other, if they wanted each other so badly they could taste it.

But a whole month?!
"So I can still kiss you, and still hold you, but no further?" he asked, wanting to make sure he understood this correctly before agreeing. "But it won't be like before right? I mean, you aren't going to shut me out or anything, yeah? Just...no sex."
Reply
"No, no, love. Not like that. Just like those first few weeks after we met- lots of cuddling and kissing and snogging. But no sex." One of Stella's hands wound into Caleb's hair, rubbing his head just the way he liked. "I'm never shutting you out again, love. It hurt too much."

Stella really didn't think it would be all that torturous- it was only a month, after all.
"The only time that might be hard for you is next weekend, before the Full," Stella admitted, knowing how worked up Caleb usually got in the days before the Full. "But maybe we can figure out something to help," she smiled, trailing her hand down his chest, towards his lower abdomen.

"I'm guessing sex would really help," he said thoughtfully. "Yes, generally lots of sex seems to help my werewolfy needs." He grinned at Stella, trapping her hand in his. "When does this no sex rule go into effect?" he asked, arching his brow.

"And next weekend, I'm sure I can figure out some way to help you out," she smiled, "That doesn't include sex."
Leaning up to kiss him, Stella looked at him seriously for a moment. "We're getting married in a month," she said, her eyes lighting up. "One month, and I will be your wife."

"So, we've got all night then?" he asked, kissing the side of her mouth. "I think I could wear us both out in a night."
At the mention of the word wife, Caleb practically beamed. "I cannot wait until you're Mrs. Moore," he said, reaching up to cup her face. "I promise I'll be a good husband to you, Stella. I'm bound to screw up a few things, but I'll always love you and I'll never leave you."
Reply
"I cannot wait to be your wife, either," Stella murmured, meeting Caleb's eyes. True, there would not be a lot of changes in their life, other than Stella (hopefully) being home every night in their new house, but just the knowledge that they would be husband and wife was a thrilling idea.
Caleb's words made her smile, and she turned her head to kiss his palm. "Now, that you can say at the wedding," she said, trying to smile to cover the tears she felt coming to her eyes.

"Seriously though, what are we doing for the actual ceremony? I mean, should I prepare something, or do you have something I need to memorize? I've never been married before, and I haven't been to one in longer than I can remember. I'm not sure how it all works."

"Caleb, I love you. You are the kindest man I have ever met, not to mention the most considerate, the most loving, and the most romantic. You are my best friend, and I am so happy that I get to spend the rest of my life with you. I know that things will not always be perfect, but I promise to love you, support you, and be the best wife I can be for the rest of our lives."
