He was wearing his tan slacks and a nice blue button down shirt that Stella had given him at Christmas. Caleb had put them on once he'd got the majority of dinner prepared, not wanting to get sauce all over his shirt.
When he heard Stella come home, he was in the bathroom trying to tame his hair but failing miserably. Ah well, she'll just mess it up anyway.
Grinning, he went to meet his intended. "Hello love," he said, kissing her on the cheek and wrapping his arms around her. "Happy Valentine's Day."

"Happy Valentine's Day," Stella murmured in return, leaning into Caleb's embrace. "This all looks beautiful, love," she smiled, glancing around the flat again. "I wasn't quite sure what you had planned."

He really didn't think she'd want to, they usually stayed in on Friday nights, but it was a celebration of sorts, so it was possible she want to do more than stay at home.

Stella stepped out of Caleb's embrace so that she could set down her bag (which held Caleb's other present), then turned back to him.
"So, did you like your hints yesterday? Any guesses about your presents?" She smiled, teasing him. Caleb always got so excited over gifts or surprises of any sort, and Stella just couldn't resist the opportunity to taunt him a little.

"Well, I hope dinner isn't too horrid, I've never made it before," he said, turning to hang up her cloak. "I thought me might try Greek food for a change, so I got a hold of a Moussaka with eggplant recipe."

"Haven't had it in ages," she continued, speaking as if nothing at all out of the ordinary was happening, though she could not wipe the grin off of her face.

"That's....wow. Soo not going out tonight," he murmured, walking back toward Stella. He put his hands on her hips, looking her up and down. There appeared to be a large portion of her dress missing, though he found he didn't miss it much. "You look amazing," he said, still a little stunned.

She didn't mention that the only things she had on underneath the dress were the thigh-high stockings that Caleb seemed to like so much. He could find that out later on in the evening.

Biting his lower lip, he looked skyward as if asking for strength, then kissed Stella quick and took a step back. "Right, dinner," he said, though he couldn't seem to look away from Stella's chest. There was just enough breast showing to tantalize and tease, and he didn't know whether to smile with glee, or pin her against the wall.

Her guess was confirmed a moment later when Caleb tugged her in close, and she couldn't help giggling a little when he managed to let go of her.
"Well, I'm glad you seem to like it," she said, watching the way his eyes were not moving at all from her chest. "But remember, you have two more presents coming, too."

Groaning, Caleb forced himself to turn around and walk to the kitchen. After all, the sooner they ate, the sooner they could get around to presents. And dessert!
"Have a seat love," Caleb said over his shoulder. Normally, they worked together when it was time to dish up, but tonight was for Stella.

"It smells heavenly," she said, the dish Caleb had chosen reminding her of many, many meals she'd had at her grandmother's home in Greece.
"Just wait until our honeymoon. I'm sure you'll come home with a dozen new recipes to try- the food is so amazing," Stella said, taking a sip of the wine that she had found already poured into her glass. "I'm sure Gigia will give us lots of her recipes, if we ask." Stella had already begun planning their honeymoon, even though it wasn't until the school's Easter holidays, nearly three weeks after the wedding. And while she had planned a good deal of time just for the two of them, for Stella no trip to Greece was complete without a stop at her grandmother's house. Plus, it would give Caleb a chance to meet her extended family, which Stella was looking forward to.

"Mmm you smell good," he murmured happily, standing upright and dishing up the moussaka. He'd never actually had it before and wouldn't have a clue if it tasted right or not. Caleb supposed as long as it was edible, they'd be alright.

"I'm just kidding, love," Stella continued as he started serving dinner. "Right now the plan is to leave that first Saturday that the holidays start, and spend a week in Athens. Then we'll go to Gigia's house for three days," Stella paused, taking a sip of her wine. "And then I was thinking we could stop and do three or four days in Paris before we come home." Stella was fairly sure that Caleb had never been to Paris- she couldn't recall him mentioning it, at least, and she definitely wanted to experience one of her favorite cities with Caleb at her side.
The moussaka smelled perfect, and Stella took a small forkful, blowing on it a bit before putting it in her mouth. Her eyes nearly rolled back with pleasure as she moaned again and looked over at Caleb. "You did wonderfully, love. This is amazing."

When she mentioned Paris, he smiled. "Can't have a proper honeymoon if you don't stop in Paris," he said, nodding. "Don't know why that is exactly, but all the books say so," he teased.
Caleb took a bite of the food and had to agree, it tasted better than he expected. "Ooo, I did good," he said, taking another bite.

"I'm sure she'll love you," Stella assured Caleb. "She's absolutely wonderful." And, thankfully, Gigia didn't seem to have any problem with the fact that Caleb was a werewolf. Stella had written to her grandmother after Caleb had proposed, telling her all about him, including his lycanthropy. Gigia's return letter had been full of nothing but good wishes for them both, and included no negative comments about werewolves, for which Stella was more than thankful.
