Ron snapped his journal closed and made his way down to the kitchen. Hermione's response, or rather near lack thereof, in his journal. Made him nervous. He was fairly certain she'd have let him know if she was upset with him, though, which left the question: what was she upset about?
He found her sitting at the table, staring into space while the kettle was heating. He sat next to her and laid a hand on her arm, "Hermione?"
