Hogwarts Quidditch Play Continues

Quidditch at Hogwarts is now underway for both the traditional House Teams and also the new teams for younger students initiated during the last school year by Headmistress McGonagall. In the first match between the House Teams Gryffindor bested Slytherin in a high scoring season opener that had fans of both teams on the edge of their seats in the new Hogwart’s Pitch. New Gryffindor coach Katie Bell delivered delicious results for Gryffindor fans as the League Cup winning Harpies Chaser coached her Gryffindor team to victory in the traditional rivalry.
The newest teams at Hogwarts made their presence felt as the Fearless Fliers eked out a startling win over the Bristling Brooms in their quest for the Dumbledore Plaque. It promises to be a banner year for Quidditch at Hogwarts!
Quidditch fans who follow the sport at Hogwarts will remember that the newer teams playing for the Dumbledore Plaque consist of First, Second, Thrid and Fourth year students. Students who have been sorted into their Houses play on the House teams for the Fifth, Sixth and Seventh year at Hogwarts.
