The sun had lured Medea out to Diagon Alley to take lunch at one of the Cafés. After all, what was the point of staying in doors on a day like today? Indoors was a fairly useless place unless you were wading through paperwork, the lack of which was the one good thing about her current unemployment.
Outdoors had people, people were infinitely more useful than most of the things she had in her house. Sadly she’d seen no one she knew or needed to talk to whilst out and about. Which meant she’d need to journal some people when she got back. Not just yet though. She had the afternoon in front of her, and for once Medea was giving herself a break.
She finished her meal, and paid up quickly. Then she wandered slowly down the alley, enjoying the sunshine. Seeing the sign for Alecto’s Animal Emporium ease into view, she remembered she needed cat food. Whilst she was here she might as well do a few errands. Humming lightly to herself, she pushed open the door to the shop.
