Tonks had slept in late- really late- after finally getting home from the gala. It took her ages to get out of the wonky dress she was stuffed in, and to clean off the makeup and curls that were not staying on her body one minute longer than needed. Her thoughts were drained, submissive to the call of sleep, and so she did, once she was done preparing. It was well into the afternoon when she finally stirred ( ... )

It took Luna a moment or two before she was able to answer the door, part of that time going to assuring Dad that this was one of those things he didn't want to see. When she finally appeared at the door she was wearing an old set of robes, ink all over her hands and face, and a smile. She politely refrained from touching Tonks as she led her in and locked the door behind them.

The entrance to their house was a narrow foyer that formed a hallway leading to the kitchen, and in front of the door, to the right a bit, was a stair leading to the bedrooms. Farther on the right was the sitting room. To the left was an old door sitting ajar, light glowing from within.

Tonks entered the busy room with wide eyes and an excited grin. The room felt very professional, and was a bit loud and overwhelming. She instantly was drawn to the working machine, as she dropped her back near the entranceway of the workshop. She moved to stare at the many buttons, the different placements of papers and metal- all coming together at the end where large sheets were done printing. Tonks felt more and more anxious with every glance and observation. She couldn’t believe it- this was really happening, their own print up ( ... )

Luna couldn't help but grin at Tonks's reaction. "They did turn out rather nice, didn't they?" Well, nice was perhaps an understatement. Luna was quite proud of their work ( ... )
