The area of the tent reserved for dining is lined with buffet tables along the tent walls. The buffet is a venerable feast of of dishes, much like the feasts held at Hogwarts for the students during the school year. Every dish from Yorkshire Pudding to Pumpkin Pasties are set out for the guests' epicurean delight. For those that want a little kick to go with their meals, the bar is accessible at the far end of the tent, before the dancing area. Houselves are instructed to patrol the dining area, trays in hand, to take drink orders. Guests are advised that non alcoholic drinks (butterbeer, pumpkin juice, etc) are included in price of the admission ticket, but any alcoholic beverages are a nominal fee. The house elves are carrying change belts for just such occasions.
Within the center of the 'room' are numerous circular tables, each seating eight to ten people comfortably. Seating is not assigned, so guests are free to sit where and with who they wish. Each table is decorated with a high vase/candelabra carrying the floral arrangement of indigenous magical flora and fauna of the area around Hogwarts. The candles at the tables as well as in the floating chandeliers above are charmed to remain lit and not drip wax on guests or their plates.
The tent itself is decorated in large bolts of flowing white fabric that are draped across the length and width of the ceiling. Each stretch of fabric has been charmed to appear as if lined in twinkling stars. Faeries fly overhead, carrying small lanterns glowing with gentle light.
Come in, enjoy a glorious meal or just mingle amongst the tables.
