the Malfoy Masque, part deux
Date: Twelfth Night! (January 6)
Location: Malfoy Manor, the 'Ballroom'
Characters Involved: those ready to dance!
Going to the right off the circular front entrance way was a short hallway. That led to what had been the dining room but was now the ballroom. The furniture had been cleared away, and the carpet had been rolled up and cleared away. That left a nice, large patch of blond-wood flooring polished to a high gloss. The back left corner of the room held a small, tiered platform with chairs and music stands that would soon be home to a small fleet of musicians. Garlands of holly and pine, interspersed with little, winking fairy lights and beeswax candles magicked not to drip wax floated merrily high above the floor. There was a small sideboard on the back wall with a silver tureen of hot holiday punch and ornate, oval silver cups.
