Parvati heard footsteps crunching in the dirt behind her and turned to see a familiar blonde.
"Hannah," she said, glad to see a friend. She stopped and waited for the other girl to catch up so they could walk together.

Hannah paused her steps as she saw Parvati's hand come up in a motion that told of tears being pushed away. Taking a look back and noting the proximity to the house, Hannah was fairly certain that there must be memories of playing with the little girl in this very spot. She knew she wouldn't have been able to handle being here and that gave her all the respect in the world for Parvati's evident strength.
When she began to walk again, Parvati turned in her direction. "Parvati," Hannah said a touch of sadness in her voice that she couldn't hide at the moment. She fought the urge to hurry to her friend's side and instead forced herself to walk dignified with purpose. "How are you holding up?" she asked once the two women were close.

"I'm glad you made it." The two women were about halfway to the area the Auror had directed them to. Parvati could hear the voices of the search party they were going to join, most of them shouting out Wini's name, a few of them communicating from larger distances, reporting their findings.

"There's no way I would have ignored your request that I assist in the search," she stated.
As they approached the voices they had been hearing since about half-way up the path individuals came into view. Most were people she didn't know which made her a bit apprehensive. Then again, unlike things she'd heard in Muggle reports, she didn't expect a Wizarding perpetrator to hand around and become part of the search party.

The group of wizards and witches that were searching didn't really pay any attention to the two women approaching. Only one of them, who seemed to be the Auror in charge of this particular area, asked them their names and nodded, indicating toward the woods.
"Well," Parvati said to Hannah as they again continued to walk. "Where do you think she's gotten off to?"

After recieving what Hannah assumed were the same general directions given to everyone she followed suit with Parvati. Though she didn't know the area at all she did know what it was like to be a child and have an area you frequented. "Does she have any particular palces in this area of the woods that she might be drawn to? Perhaps something you'd shown her once that was special."

"We never really came into the woods, just along the path. I wouldn't let her go in because I didn't think Oliver would like it very much."
She sighed and took out her wand, shouting for the little girl a few times before looking carefully through a pile of leaves that had fallen off the trees.
"Where would you go if you were a little girl?" If she ran off at all, Parvati thought, then scolded herself for such a morbid idea.

"Let's see," Hannah thought aloud. "Rabits, small foxes, wild cats and hedgehogs, all night time animals. I'd have probably followed one if I saw it. Let's see if we see any animal tracks around. Maybe she saw one and followed it."
