Lavender made her way quickly down Diagon Alley, her face shinning and the morning's Daily Prophet held tightly in her hand. She was practically skipping, feeling as though she were a child again. She and Parvati had made plans to meet at Alecto's at noon, when they were both off for an hour's lunchbreak. Since they had decided to try and find a flat together, they had been talking about it incessantly. It had been wonderful to be around each other so much during the past few weeks. Lavender had felt her self-worth rise back up quite a bit from the beating that it had taken through the work of Marcus. Even though she wasn't going to be bid on for charity in the morning... She was going to make the best of the situation and have a lot of fun cheering for Par! And to be able to rent an apartment together and to always know that her best friend was just a few steps away for a hug and chat... It would be just like living at Hogwarts again, except much more fun because there was no curfew and no Hermione Granger to try and lecture them when they were having too much fun.
"Par!" she called as she swung the door to Alecto's open. "I'm here! Are you ready to go? I've circled several adds in the Prophet to start with, unless you've come up wtih some leads." She giggled. "I can't believe we're actually going looking! We're going to do this!"
