"Pleasure to see you again," Hannah nodded politely to Roger as Parvati made the introduction. She remembered him from the Ravenclaw Quidditch team but had never really met him when they were in school. Hannah was about to address Parvati's compliment on her dress when Lavender rushed up on them. She was going to mention that the three of them should definitely make time for the get together again at a less formal event but the chance quickly passed as Lavender beamed over Roger. Not even a moment later, Parvati's mirror image arrived looking just as beautiful as her sister.

Hannah suddenly felt like an outsider. Here Parvati was with her two best friends and she was just along for the ride because she'd been convinced she had nothing better to do. Turning to take in her surroundings she saw Seamus approaching with another gentleman that she could only assume was Longbottom.

She smiled politely when Roger acknowledged her words. He was quite easy on the eyes but that wasn't who she turned her attention to. Hannah was simply amazed by Seamus' cheery disposition. He never seemed to allow anything to darken his mood. "I'm doing much better now that I'm not alone with this lot," she nodded in the direction of the group already gathered. Her words came across light and playful as she found herself a might bit looking forward to the occassion.

Hannah's gaze was only turned fully toward Neville once he spoke to the decor. "Yes, it does look quite splendid. I'm just hoping the party is as much fun as it seems to look," a bit of uncertainty creeping into her voice as she sincerely hoped things would keep looking up.

As splendid as the tower was on the outside, as the group went inside it was clear to see that the wizarding ballrooms in the place were the finest to be had. No surprise there, not with Pansy Parkinson the star attraction for the evening.

Seamus looked around quickly for a place to leave his gift. It wasn’t hard to spot a sumptuous “gift table” which was already laden with loot. He put his elegantly wrapped gift for the Birthday Girl on the table with dozens of others. He had gotten her a copy of the latest book from Calliope Chesilwick, “The Charming Witch”. It was a compilation of beauty tips, diet suggestions, relationship advice, and fashion and make-up hints from the pages of Witch Weekly. He couldn’t imagine a witch with more need of it than Pansy. Seamus knew, as he feared Pansy did not, that it was what was on the inside that mattered. If she bothered to look inside the book, she would find two tickets to the League Cup final next week. Not just any tickets, but two for one of the private skyboxes. He was desperately hoping that she wouldn’t find the tickets since Sean O’Casey had given him four tickets and if she came, he’d have to put up with her and her guest. He hadn’t figured out who he was going to invite; probably Lavender or Neville. He did know for certain that whoever he invited, they’d have a better time of it if Pansy Parkinson didn’t show up. Then again, she probably felt that way about him coming to her birthday party, which was why he owed her the tickets.

Once he’d placed his present on the pile and returned to the group of mostly Gryffindor friends, he looked around the place, and had to admit that the ballroom was really quite something.

“Aye, then, leave it to Pansy Parkinson to celebrate in style,” he said with a good natured smile, shaking his head a bit. “Right, the lass is a caution.”

Smiling, Roger shook Seamus's hand. "I think I remember you, yeah, great to see you again!" He'd seen Seamus quite often around the Quidditch pitch, he remember, and was glad to a have a fellow Qudditch enthusiast among them. "Heh, thanks, it's great to be back and get on the pitch again."

He acknowledged Neville's arrival with a smile and waved slightly in his direction, before he offered Parvati his arm to head inside. "Shall we...?" He asked out of politeness, before following the others inside by her side.

The Ballroom looked, without exaggerating, amazing, Roger had to admit. But what else had he expected of the Parkinsons, really? He smirked at Seamus's comment as he returned. "Caution's an understatement."

Parvati smiled and linked her arm through Roger's before heading inside. She gasped in awe; the ballroom looked absolutely stunning. It was gilt gold with elaborate paintings on the ceiling, the crystal chandeliers sparkling on the guests as they entered. Every table was stocked with drink. Parvati spotted the large gift table, already laden with beautifully wrapped presents, most with delicate bows and ribbons and other frivolities. It was any girl's dream princess birthday bash, and Pansy Parkinson actually made it real. And Parvati was here.

She gently placed Pansy's gift on top of a rather large box wrapped in gold metallic paper before returning her attention to her surroundings. A band was playing a great jazz tune on the stage, and Parvati's feet were itching to dance.

"Would you accompany me in a dance to start the afternoon off?" she asked Roger, curtsying playfully.

((I think if Parvati and Roger dance, we should start a new thread, yeah?))
