My dear, I much regret that business has forced me to leave you to your own devices this summer. I would that it had been otherwise. I have finally forced a break in my schedule and would love to fill that time with you. I shall be returning by nightfall and should be home for several weeks, at the least, unless business, again, intervenes. Will I see you there, or have you gone to the country for some air? I trust you are well.
