Papering Hermione's Walls

Oliver and Wini had been making the rounds of Hogsmeade for several hours. He had bought a small bag of fizzing whizbees to keep her entertained whenever the heat of the warm September day, and the strain of exploring made her fussy. He had seen a few cottages he liked, and he could more than afford them, but... He still wasn't sure. He'd come back later that week and give it another look.
He felt nervous about going and seeing June after their confrontation at the ball, and of course he still had to discuss the Quidditch coaching with McGonagall and Madam Hooch. They would be having the Quidditch tryouts soon. He guessed he'd be here right after the first playoff game. Philbert was slightly annoyed that Oliver wanted to spend so much time at Hogwarts, but Oliver didn't care. This was where he had gained his skill, through all that careful practicing. And now he would be more than happy to instill that dedication and fervor in the new generation of Hogwarts students -- poor, unsorted kids.
Before seeing June he -- and Wini, of course -- wanted to stop in and see the ex-babysitter. He had brought a few dozen of Wini's drawings, all chosen especially for Hermione by the little girl. They were carried in a bag by the little girl, though the bag dragged on the floor she wouldn't allow him to hold it now that they were so close to Hermione's room. He had gotten directions from Filch who had eyed Wood suspiciously, wondering why he needed to know the location of a female's bedroom, but Wini's presence must have been enough to convince him that Oliver wasn't up to any monkey business. Oliver didn't do monkey business.
He tapped his hand on door, clearing his throat. "Her--"
"Ermione!" said Wini, banging a little fist against the wood. Her voice made up for the quiet thud against the door. "'s Wini!"
