Remus Lupin was walking through the halls of St. Mungo's once again. After bringing Harry home on Friday and seeing Severus move Draco into Spinner's End the day before, he's believed his days viiting those in hospital were over for the time being. Silly werewolf. Upon retiring to his room for the evening the night before, Remus had discovered a public note from Ginny Weasley stating 'Dora had been taken to St. Mungo's.
By then, it had been too late for him to come to her because of the Ministry's blasted curfew. He couldn't bring himself to ask after her condition of Ginny. Being unable to go and see her, he would have just worried the night away, no matter how well she was or wasn't.
Who was he kidding? He'd been up much of the night as it was. Despite the fact they hadn't seen much of each other during the last years of the war, she was still foremost amoung his friends. Knowing she was hurt or ill and he was chained to the window of his small room at Spinner's End ate at him all night. Once again he was forced to surrender to an overwhelming feeling of helplessness.
Dawn had only been a faint blush on the horizon when he left his night's perch at the window, donned his robes, and made his way down to the kitchen. After forcing himself to take the time for a cup of tea, he left for the hospital as soon as he could be assured visiting hours would be open. Whether he was becoming known around St. Mungo's for visiting whom he liked regardless of the current prejudices, or he managed to find someone at the nurse's station who did not know him, it was a relatively simple matter to be directed to the room of one Nymphadora Tonks.
Knocking softly, he did not wait for a verbal response before entering and closing the door softly behind him.
"'Dora? You awake?"
