Seamus gathered up all of the copies of The Daily Prophet from the last couple of days, the take away luncheon he’d ordered for himself and Neville Longbottom and left The Leaky Cauldron for St. Mungo’s. He was not one to leave Tom in the lurch for the busy lunch crowd, but he had things to discuss with Neville, things that required a measure of privacy not possible at The Leaky, and today was the day they’d agreed upon.
It was a brief walk between the two, and he headed to the fifth floor Visitors Tea Room and took the stairs the Apothecary just as Neville had instructed. Once there, he asked for Wendoline and then let Wendoline know he was there to see Neville Longbottom. During this process it seemed pretty evident that they were trying to restrict access to Neville. While Seamus thought that seemed like a good idea, he doubted this sort of screening of visitors would dissuade anyone with a purposeful intent to find Neville. Sadly, it would only work on those willing to follow the rule or those who had no malicious intent.
As he waited for Neville to arrive, he wondered if his former tower mate was at present too distressed to even discuss the topic Seamus had come to see him about. Seamus kept his sighs inward and his attention outward. He was here, and he’d taken off work to see Neville, so see him he would.
