Padma had been able to negotiate her way into the late lunchbreak for that day. So instead of leaving to office around noon like she usually did, she was out the door at fifteen minutes until one, making her way down the middle of Diagon Alley taking her time to look at every marquee that she usually ignored until she found the one that she was looking for.

Fenwick's wasn't a grand place. It was small on the inside with very little other than a counter in front of a small bar and place to pick up take-out orders. The majority of the restraunant was actually outside, out the back, a bunch of small tables of various sizes arranged underneath a veranda that housed more tables but in a sunnier atmosphere. Frankly, Padma would have preferred to stay out of the sunlight, but knowing Anthony, if he'd already arrived, he would have taken one of the tables on the veranda since they would afford an individual a better view of the surrounding world rather than just the other tables in the shade.

So, briefly lifting the hem of her robes so she wouldn't trip over them, she started up the staircase that lead from the lower area to the veranda. There were a few people there, but unless Anthony had altered his gender since the last time she saw him, he wasn't among them. So Padma did what any good friend would do. She snagged one of the tables intended for two people and waited.
