Being persuasive was a good thing! This Charlie knew, because how else would he have gotten into the Ministry and all the way down to the Aurors' floor if he weren't 'charismatic'? He wouldn't have, that's how!
And if he hadn't, well. All of his plans would have been blown. So it was a good thing, most definitely.
Wearing a thin, beat-up leather jacket- of in which, his hands were curiously hidden- his usual cords and loafers, he felt slightly out of place among the many professionally dressed wizards and witches, but tried to think nothing of it. Where was Tonks? Her hair- Charlie looked around for a shock of lavendar- it was usually a sort of beacon, making it easy to find the girl. But- amongst all the cubicle walls and the employed, Charlie couldn't find her-
He turned a corner, feeling like he was in some sort of man-sized maze, and wondering idly what Tonks' reaction would be to him being there- when- he saw her. Charlie grinned, noting how busy she looked. Brilliant.
Approaching on light feet, Charlie made his way through the cubicles until he came to rest on Tonks', leaning on the flimsy wall. "Well. Since you don't want to 'write' to me anymore.." He smiled, moving his hands under his jacket. "I was thinking- we should go eat."
