Hmmm, nope, definately no thought-provoking intro here.
I'm awake at 3 in the morning on a Wednesday because work has me all colors of anxious and frustrated. Let's (including my fiery temper) move on.
Books I've been reading lately that are non-fiction:
The Way of Four Best book about the elements that I have ever read- totally breaks down previous understandings and how to use them in order to achieve a better balance in your life, and not just spiritual life but your everyday, day-to-day life. Practical and easy to comprehend.
Shamanic Spirit Good practice and beginning methods for amateurs like myself. Pretty unenthusiastic and boring of a read though.
The Book of Shamanic HealingThe experiences this author writes about are really awesome, however; at the time I bought the book I was looking for more info on shamans in general and not so much on healing. Good tool and reference, but not completely in line with my intent.
Fiction:
Nana Yes, I still buy manga, and yes, I'm still addicted. I somehow missed a book, but don't worry I've been slapping myself as punishment since.
Naamah's Kiss I <3 Jacqueline Carey. This book has made the past 3 look better.
Never After All the stories were well written, but completely unsatisfying.
Hunting Ground I find this series entertaining and well-written, but they just don't have that 'OOMPH' in their characters like Mercy.
Books I'm waiting for:
Flirt Bullet I need my fix, damn it.
Silver Borne Black Magic Sanction Chasing the Dragon Shalador's Lady Which I'm am member on the LKH board and got to leave a message to Anne Bishop to which she responded! Herself! I can't tell you how ridiculously excited and important I felt. And then it went away too fast...
That's what I have for right now. Later kids.
