Writer's Block: B.Y.O.B. Holidays
Chanukah and Christmas. :) My father's side is Jewish, and my mother's is Christian. During Chanukah, we light the menorah and say the blessings, and either I or my mother will usually make latkes (potato pancakes) with applesauce. On Christmas, we go to Christmas Eve service at church, hand out gifts, and I receive my birthday presents. Yes, I was born December 24th. No, I do not get "jipped". ;)
