Author's Note: This was created for hp_diversity's Mini-Prompt Fest. The prompt was sleeping with the enemy for Rita/Celestina. I wasn't sure what I was going to do with this until a couple days ago, but now it's the first one done! Anything with Rita sends me into a spiral of crack, but I think this balances. Also, I love playing in photoshop. This is the first time I've cut someone's head out. *giddy* Anyway, I don't want to give too much context for this mix because I like the ambiguity of it, how the affair feeds both of their highly public 'creative' endeavors but is never widely known about. Read between the lines. ;)

Invisible Ink: What A Stink
Review by Rita Skeeter

With Invisible Ink Celestina Warbeck, the songtress touted as the voice of a generation, produces her most raw and tumultuous album yet.

Those only familiar with her jazzy love songs broadcast over the wireless will be shocked at the array of styles Warbeck samples in Invisible Ink. Rock, pop, and folk elements have all found their way into Warbeck's songs in a mish-mash that many would call chaotic, giving the album an unrefined and, dare I say, slip-shod sound. The only track recognizable as a Celestina Warbeck song is the smooth but bittersweet ballad "Kissing You", a diamond in the rough of Invisible Ink.

The only unifying theme of the album are the lyrics. It won't take a careful listener to realize that Warbeck poured her heart into this album, the first ever to have her name attached to every track as a song writer as well as performer. Fans that embrace her change in tone here will undoubtedly come to see this as the definitive break-up album, ousting former favorite You Stole My Cauldron But You Can't Have My Heart, but the casual listener will more often ask "That's the Singing Sorceress?" before forgetting the song altogether.

A girl can only imagine the events that transpired to produce such an overwrought, angst filled mess of an album. Would you blame me for speculating that Warbeck's state of mind has suffered since the anonymously published tell-all book revealed her diva lifestyle to the masses? Only time will tell if she bounces back. Hopefully, with better music.

-Daily Prophet, 1975

1. What Would Happen-Meredith Brooks

What would happen if we kissed
Would your tongue slip past my lips?

2. What Am I To You?- Norah Jones

Yeah, well, if my sky should fall
Would you even call
Opened up my heart
Never want to part
I'm giving you the ball

3. Kissing You - Des'ree

Heaving heart is full of pain
Oh, the aching
Cause I'm kissing you

4. You Could Make A Killing - Aimee Mann

There is nothing that competes with habit
And I know it's neither deep nor tragic
It's simply that you have to have it
So you can make a killing

5. Wicked Game- Heather Nova

It's strange what desire will make foolish people do
I never dreamed that I'd meet somebody like you
I never dreamed I'd love somebody like you

6. Rumor Has It- Adele

All of these words whispered in my ear
Tell a story that I cannot bear to hear
Just 'cause I said it, it don't mean that I meant it.

7. Between the Lines- Sara Bareilles

Time to tell me the truth
To burden your mouth for what you say
No pieces of paper in the way

8. Stupid- Sarah McLachlan

Love has made me a fool
It set me on fire and watched as I floundered

9. Oh Well- Fiona Apple

What a waste of unconditional love
On somebody
Who doesn't believe in the stuff

10. Hallelujah - Elisa

Baby I have been here before
I know this room, I've walked this floor
I used to live alone before I knew you.
I've seen your flag on the marble arch
Love is not a victory march
It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah
