...because grammar nazis are a tad annoying. But since I've been getting way too many "high priority" e-mails with red exclamation marks about weensy small-bit stuff, no more! Overly abundent exclamation mark use is second only to typing in capslock as far as annoying-the-crap-out-of-Deb-with-words goes.

Back in your old grampa's day we had to type a comma, then back right up and type an apostrophe. It was hard work, but worth it, and we savored the fruits of our labor. Back then, nobody took the dog's cock for granted. Folks these days ain't got no kinda respect for good, decent, honest punctuation.

Yeah, I've been noticing that a lot recently--I think people sometimes use quotes as a way to bold or set apart important words. It's just silly: everyone knows that's what the asterisk is for!
