Being a Good Houseguest

Kara Keating is really the best friend in the whole world. First of all, there just aren't many vampire slayers who would invite a vampire to come over and just hang out, in a totally non-pervy way. Much less would they invite her to be their shoulder to cry on and tell them they might be pregnant from a mysterious affair with a boy whose name they didn't learn (them = Kara, not them = Harmony; Harmony also recently had a mysterious affair with a boy whose name she didn't learn -- though she thinks it was either Herman or Norvill -- but Harmony is almost certain she's not pregnant, because if she was it would be a whole new miracle child apocalypse thing and those are one major pain in the behind!)
But Kara totally called Harmony and invited her over and then then she (Kara) cried on her (Harmony's) shoulder -- ok, she sort of screamed and babbled incoherently while Harmony rubbed her feet, but it was pretty close to the same thing. Then Kara had to take a nap because of her delicate condition. Harmony secretly doesn't think that Kara's delicacy has anything to do with pregnancy; she's probably having sympathetic pains because of Darla being pregnant too. (Harmony is under the distinct impression that Kara told her this about Darla; she didn't, but, between Kara talking and Harmony understanding, it would not have been difficult for someone to make that mistake).
Anyway, once Kara had to lie down, Harmony totally didn't want to leave her there alone for five hours. (Darla and Angel are out at King Kong and Harmony knows that is totally long). So Harmony is just being a good friend when she hangs around in the living room watching season 2 of Gilmore Girls on DVD. Also, because she never got to use the slushie machine on New Year's Eve, she gives it a try, using the blood Angel has stored in the fridge for flavoring, along with some pina colada syrup. She doesn't spill too much, and anyway, Darla and Angel's couch and their carpet would have to be totally stain-resistant. Angel drinks blood all the time!
So she has a drink and settles down on the couch and falls asleep halfway through disc 2. She loves the Gilmores and all, but it's a really comfortable couch.
