(no subject)
Things are a little too up in the air for me right now...it's exciting, but I hate it all the same. Change is never easy - no matter how welcomed it may be.
We're going to be moving - hopefully within the next six months or so, but to where - no one knows.
I'd really like to work in Richmond or Charlottesville - Lindsey would like to be in Charlottesville maybe...but maybe not...she's applying to grad schools all over the place...
I've applied to jobs and different internships all over the place as well...but ultimately I feel like Richmond is the best central location for all things to come...
I just need some direction...but I'm not sure I'll have that for a while...so until then, I'll be sitting here, waiting...
In other news - I've decided that I need to be one of those people that buys a little baby pool and sits in it every day after work like the nerd that I am. Really - I need a real pool. The water makes me feel so much better. Maybe, if I ever find a new swimsuit, I'll go swim at the pool here every day after work. Hah - right. We'll see if I have the energy...
I washed my car lastnight - that was fun. It's finally getting hot here and the cold water felt really good on the tired feet! Maybe Lindsey will wash hers this weekend and we can have water fights! he he..I need to clean the rest of my car too if I'm going to try to sell it - I'm not sure what I'll do. But I definately need a downpayment for a new car regardless...WHy won't my parents give me the money that is mine again? Yea, good question I say, good question indeed.
I'd still like to find a new job while I wait here in Dallas to figure out where we're going to end up in Virginia, North Carolina, Indiana, Delaware, who knows where else...
So I'm off to continue the hunt and apply for more non-profit jobs that will most likely not pay me what I'm making now...woo. Or something like that!
