Kris taped up her hands, exhaling slowly as she did, white tape bounded her wrists and palms and as it tightened, she flexed it for a moment, making sure she could still use her hands. Her feet were bare, also bound by white tape, she wore a very tight black nike vest which clung to her toned physique and last but not least, she wore a pair of rather small shorts which were as skin tight as the vest, she was far more streamlined this way and could move quickly, and it wasn't like anyone was going to see her, not that she cared.

She shook back her hair, long dark strands fell down and around her shoulders before she scooped it all back into a high tight ponytail. Once that was done, she cracked her neck from side to side, beginning to bounce on her feet slightly, before she snapped her legs up and through the air. Very quickly, she spun on the ball of one foot and swept a leg through the air, before she followed it through with a fist. Using her momentum, she sprung up off the ground with her right foot and turned her body so her legs sliced through the air in one fluid motion.

As she landed, she sprung to the side, turning her body so she ended rolling across the side of the floor. Her body curled to land in a predatory crouch, her eyes tracked invisible opponents before Kris reached out, grabbing hold of a nearby sword. Standing slowly, she pulled the sword from the sheathe, by now sweat trickled down over the side of her face but her dark eyes fixed on a point and hardly wavered as the sword swept through the air, cutting it smoothly and easily.

She flicked the sword in her hand, before grappling hold of its hilt, to turn the blade through the air, she timed the swepts of the blade through the air with kicks, her body and blade moved as one, Kris wasn't a social person, it bothered her at times but then she would do this, train and everything seemed to be okay. She spun the sword to stab back through the air, and with a short cry, she twisted her body in the air, resting the blade of the sword across the length of her back and as she landed, she pulled it out and swept it in a wide arc.

Breathing in harsh ragged breaths, Kris wiped the sweat from her forehead before she wandered back over, placing the sword back in its sheathe and rested it back in the place, where she had gotten it from. She closed her eyes for a moment, pushing her hands into her hair, resting them atop of her head as she simply focused on her fast beating heart, it thudded erratically against her chest but with every beat, it reminded her, she was alive.

Suddenly out of nowhere, Kris arched her body back, hands coming to rest on the gym's floor before she pushed off from the ground, muscles tensed as her feet came back around to land squarely on the gym's floor, echoing this move, Kris backflipped once more before stopping in a crouch, her arms outstretched on either side of her, she appeared to be balancing on her tiptoes and the ball of her foot. Her head lifted, eyes looked straight ahead through dark strands of her hair, this is what she lived for, the training, making herself better.
