OOC explanation behind Shere Khan's very odd AU history

The main reason I went with this route was to allow for all three incarnations of Jungle Book canon (Jungle Book, Jungle Cubs and Tale Spin) in game. Since the game merges all Disney canon into a single universe and there are individuals powerful enough to do this within the Disney universe, it seemed like the easiest way to allow for the most flexibility as far as this canon is concerned.

Wishes that don't turn out quite as planned works as an explanation. Shere Khan wished to be a few years younger so he could be in his prime again, but was turned into a cub instead. Baloo could either wish to be younger, or could wish that he could fly and then become Baloo the pilot from Tale Spin. Louie could wish to be younger, or wish to be more like man and own a bar like he does in Tale Spin.

As for why I went with Jungle Cubs Shere Khan as opposed to Jungle Book Shere Khan - he hates humans. A lot. To the point that he tried to kill a human child because the "man cub" would grow up to be an adult human. Having him on staff would be a very, very bad idea. The Tale Spin Shere Khan would have been a good business/economics teacher since he's a wealthy businessman. However, I wanted to add to the younger student population in game, and although Jungle Cubs Shere Khan doesn't like humans, he doesn't hate them to the extent that his adult self does.
