I've had a good year, though, regardless of the fact I haven't played music with people for a long time...
I won $10,000 this summer on a $2 scratcher ticket. After taxes, it was $7,100, but still, quite a payout. I've said for months, "No one deserves this less than me," and actually believing that makes me feel even better about being such a bastard all the time. Self-proclaimed, "nice guys," like those cunts, Patrick Allen and Chad van Pelt, have shit lives, manage shit events further into the ground, and Patrick's spine is way fucked up. He's got a crooked head. These things make me laugh hard.
I bought some cool shit.
Also, Erika and I are informally engaged. Don't get all gay about it. It'll be five or six years at least... What's the rush?
Best news of all: The lotto win made it possible to finally move to New York, and we're doing just that in four days.
This year has been full of ups and downs, but next year is gonna be awesome!
